EXOFFICIO – lincoln square

Bellevue, Washington
2,000 SF
Client: ExOfficio LLC

Craig Hardman Architect was retained to design a rollout retail design based on the original prototype design at Sea Tac Airport for this Seattle manufacturer of travel and adventure clothing. Since 1986, ExOfficio has been creating high performance apparel offering unique technical features.

The prototype design was adapted and enhanced at this location. The trademark suspended wood beam ceiling was reoriented to fit the new geometry. Focal features were created to better highlight merchandise. A new concept to create fitting rooms themes that represent a range of far flung destinations reinforces the ExOfficio travel brand. The use of exotic “found object” furniture adds to the eclectic nature of the store.

The design team working with Craig Hardman included Justin Zier and Sean Samuelson; Lighting design by Sidney Gennette, of Lighting Designs Inc.
